Lucy has twenty-seven (27) years’ experience working with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Kenya (1989-1999) and thereafter the Climate Change Secretariat (UNFCCC), Germany (1999 -2017). As the Programme Management Officer at UNFCCC, she was responsible for the overall programme and administrative support to the Information Services (IS) programme that focused on Communications and Outreach of the Climate Change secretariat. She coordinated work planning, management and coordination of the approved work programme, and facilitated activities/requests related to the programme human resources, finance, budget, procurement and travel. Lucy holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology, University of Lodz, Poland, and a Higher Education, East African Advanced Certificate of Education “A” levels.
